Please introduce yourself a little for those who don’t know you

My name is Sander Van Zutphen. and I live in Tarifa. I’m 14 years old, and my favorite spot is Balneario where I usually go kiting, and I ride a Reedin Supermodel.

Why, and at what age did you get into kiting?

I started kiting in May 2022 when I was 12 years old, because always I was going to the beach with my dad I saw all these kiters around the beach and I really wanted to try it. My dad also kites so he taught me how to kite.

What about kiting do you enjoy most?

I enjoy everything about kiting, but what I like the most is when I jump high and make tricks because I like feeling the adrenalin.

Describe the absolute perfect dream session to us.

I think the perfect session would be in Misty Cliffs with a Supermodel HTF 8 meters, with constant 25-30 knots wind and 2-meter waves with my dad, some friends and Kevin Langeree.

What gear are you riding and what’s your favorite size?

I’m riding a Reedin Supermodel V3 but I will ride the new Supermodel HTF soon and my favorite size is definitely an 8-meter.

What do you do on a day without wind?

When there is no wind, I like to go surfing or maybe if there are no waves meet some friends and I also like to go to the beach.

What can people expect to see from you in the future?

My dream is to compete in the future and I’m going to do all that I can to make this dream come true.
