    Interview

    Please introduce yourself.
Good morning! I am Erik Volpe, a professional athlete and for 25 years I have believed in this great dream: kitesurfing. I was born in Italy in 1991 and, since I was a child, I have always had a great passion for the sea and the wind. I took my kite and searched for the wind around the world, making the sea my home.
Why, and at what age did you get into kiting?
I was 8 years old when my father showed me for the first time a sport that could make you glide on the water and above all fly from above: a kite, a board on your feet and strong wind as an engine. For me, it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. In that moment everything was clear to me: I want to fly high.
What about kiting do you enjoy most?
Kitesurfing makes you strong, light and lets you touch the sky with a finger. When the wind calls, Erik answers. Thanks to my kite I feel free to show the world who I really am, happy to love what I do. Every trip to the sea is an adventure that allows me to discover new emotions and overcome my limits. Kitesurfing is not just a sport, but a way of life that teaches me to respect nature and to face challenges with courage and determination. The thrill of flying over the water, the feeling of the wind pushing you and the breathtaking view of the horizon are priceless.
What can people expect to see from you in the future?
Thank you for following my journey and for the continuous support. Every comment, every like and every message of encouragement pushes me to always give the best of myself. Keep following me, the best is yet to come!!!
